Kaka Point Gold Golden Ale

On 23rd May 1861 Gabriel Read gained esteem and government bonuses when he struck gold in Lawrence. This heralded the start of the 1860’s Otago Gold Rush when Dunedin temporarily became New Zealand’s largest city. Gold is still found throughout the South Island and the black sands on Kaka Point Beach give clues about what treasure might lie in the creek feeding our brewhouse. You will be sure to know when we trip over a giant nugget, but in the meantime, enjoy KP Gold, our pure and fresh Golden Ale.

Firm bodied and smooth, this golden ale hides it high alcohol content well with a slighty tart finish.
